Looking at the standings at the end of May, you may notice something. 4 teams in the NL East seperated by one game. Brooklyn, New York, and Philadelphia are all tied with the mediocre record of 20-19, while Boston sits one game behind at 19-20. 2 months into the season and it looks like the NL East will be a dogfight for the the rest of the season.
